"Murphs" coaching experience started in her home town assisting in the building of the local Field Hockey recreation program. After playing the sport for six years she began participating in CrossFit in 2013 and eventually became a coach again. Sarah started by creating a kids program in addition to coaching and training adults. Her passion for helping others eventually led her to open up a gym with her training partner. As an athlete, Sarah participates in local CrossFit Competitions, Triathlons, 70.3's, Spartan Races, and other competitive events. When participating in the New Jersey State Triathlon in 2019 and 2021 Sarah earned the title of New Jersey State Champ in her division by placing first. She currently holds her CFL1, USA Weightlifting Level 2, Gymnastics Course, Brand X Method Youth Coaching Certification, Safe Sport Certification along with her American Red Cross CPR / AED Certification.

Eamon Coyne


Functional Fitness Coach 

Nutrition Coach

Eamon started incorporating functional fitness into his regular workout routine in the military and has been coaching fitness for 12 years. Eamon holds his CrossFit Level 3 Certification, USA Level 2, and works on the CrossFit gymnastics Seminar staff, he also holds other certifications in training modalities, as well as nutrition and mindset.  Eamon has played ice hockey throughout most of his life, including AAA prep school hockey for three years as well as ACHA D1 hockey at Ithaca College.  From that experience as well as his time in the military and coaching fitness, he has developed a strong reputation for developing athletes across all sports both physically and mentally to help them excel in their given sports. Currently, Eamon is the owner of several businesses related to the health and fitness industry including owning two CrossFit gyms and a corporate health and wellness company. As an athlete, Eamon has competed at Wodapoloza, Granite Games, and the CrossFit Games 2021.

Alex Rosenwald

Olympic Lifting Coach

Olympic Lifting Personal Trainer

Coach Joe Francalancia  began his journey into fitness at Equity Strength and Fitness located in Elkton Maryland in 2013, there he learned to love the sport of fitness and grew especially fond of the Olympic Weightlifting aspect of it. In 2014 he not only received his CrossFit L1 certificate, but also became a USAW L1 coach. Coach Joe relocated back to New Jersey to create the Caldwell Barbell Club. While coaching at CBBC, Joe hosted mock meets for the members and even hosted an Olympic Weightlifting Seminar for the members of Chronos CrossFit. After a short time at CrossFit Caldwell, Joe decided to relocate once more to the beautiful Jersey Shore and to Kings Fitness!


Ray Ortiz


Personal trainer

Coach Ray Ortiz is the owner of Muscle Recovery Mechanic and works constantly with a variety of athletes as a CrossFit coach and Massage Therapist specializing in Athlete recovery. Coach Ray is a certified personal trainer, and USAW Level 1 Coach with experience as an athlete in the Olympic Lifts as well. Coach Ray has been studying and participating in CrossFit for years and continues to practice the Olympic Lifts. Ray is also a licensed massage therapist with a certification in corrective exercise. His eye and ability to identify each athlete's needs make him an asset to Asbury Park Fitness.

Coral Mags


Personal trainer

Coach Coral started out in the fitness world in 2004, taking her first CrossFit class in 2015. She went on to explore the world of OCR, (Obstacle Course Racing) and ran competitively for a few years. Specificity training for different sports and became a fitness professional. Coral began her coaching and personal training career in 2018. In addition, to her CrossFit Level 1 Cert, Coral also holds Certifications in  Personal Training, Group Fitness, Sports Nutrition & Weight loss, and is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist.  Coach Coral is a USA Powerlifting Club Coach and a competitive  Powerlifter, she has won 2 Gold Medals in the 72kg M1 Division. 


Kieran Walsh


Personal trainer

Coach Kieran Walsh started his coaching career in the sport of Rugby. While Coaching Rugby for two years, Kieran also participated as an Athlete. Kieran has been active in CrossFit for 5 years now and playing Rugby for 8 years.  New movements, new activities, and new opportunities drive Kieran. Coach Kieran has traveled internationally to explore the sport of Rugby and CrossFit.  He also participates and competes in CrossFit and Powerlifting events. Kieran holds his USA Powerlifting Certification in addition to his CPR/ AED cert. 


Nicole Zuck

Coach / Personal trainer

Coach Zuck has been participating in CrossFit for over 7 years and continues to practice by competing in local CrossFit competitions. Zuck is also a fearless rugby player with a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. Nikki has experience coaching group fitness classes and continues to provide a welcoming environment at Kings.
